THE DESOTO, Savannah – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perched high above the city with a balcony overlooking the park, which I loved. The rooms appeared cleaner and nicer than they actually were, but still offered a great experience. The service was top-notch, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The location was excellent, surrounded by beautiful parks and within walking distance of charming bars, restaurants, and shops.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms had a nice traditional southern feel, it was disappointing not to have a refrigerator and to pay extra for a balcony room with a different view than expected. The stained bed sheets were also a letdown.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The rooms were spotless and spacious, and I loved having a corner room with a fantastic view of the pool and a balcony facing east for breathtaking sunrise views over the river. The soundproofing was impressive, making my stay extra peaceful. The service was top-notch, with incredibly kind and friendly staff attending to every need. The location was ideal, perfectly situated in historic Savannah within walking distance of all the city's attractions. The dining options were good, although the extra charge for breakfast was a bit steep. Overall, a wonderful stay with great value for money.
